Wax Melt Guide
🕯️ Wax Melt Guide & Safety Information
What Are Wax Melts?
Wax melts are designed to be gently heated in a wax melter to release their fragrance.
They are essentially candles without a wick.
To use them, you will need either:
- A tealight wax melter (uses a tealight candle as a heat source), or
- An electric wax melter (plugs into a socket)
Our wax melts are tested and suitable for use in both types of melters.
Important Usage Advice
- Only use wax melts in a burner specifically designed for wax melting.
- Do not use oil burners, as these are designed for oil and water and are not suitable for wax melts.
How Much to Use
- Our wax melt bars are designed to be snapped into smaller pieces.
- Use an amount suitable for your melter size.
- We recommend 2 squares per use (if your melter size allows).
Replacing Wax Melts
When the fragrance has faded, you can remove the wax using either of these methods:
Option 1: Freezer Method
- Allow the wax to cool completely
- Place the melter bowl in the freezer for around 30 minutes
- The wax will shrink and slide out easily
Option 2: Gentle Heat Method
- Gently warm the melter until the base of the wax softens
- Carefully slide the wax out
- Wipe the bowl clean before reuse
Eco-Friendly Disposal
- Our melts are made from eco soy wax
- Once the fragrance has gone, the remaining wax can be placed in your compost bin
Ready to Use Again
- Simply add 2 fresh squares from a wax melt bar
- Enjoy a newly scented home
